- Faith has been an active part of Sydney's vibrant theatre and art scene since the late 80's as an actor, director and designer. She branched out into review writing in 2023 and hasn't looked back. Faith writes reviews for What's On Sydney, The 4th Wall and What's the Show. There doesn't seem to be a week that goes by without her sitting an audience somewhere in Sydney, waiting for the house lights to go down. Her number 1 passion is writing reviews to support the amazing work of community and fringe theatre, but she does admit, the challenges of reviewing professional theatre has become a major writing thrill.View all posts
- Actor, writer, scientist, physiotherapist, tutor, horse massage therapist (for real!); you name it, I've probably done it. Enjoy writing short film scripts and monologues (and then performing them!). Massive animal lover with current 'pet tally' quite low, at just 2 horses and a cat.View all posts

- Barry has been actively involved in theatre since 1970. He is a director/actor who is equally at home with comedy as he is with drama. One of the highlights of his career is directing the late June Bronhill with who he remained friends until her passing. His favourite roles have been Roy in 'Cosi', Noel Coward in 'Noel and Gertie', Sir Joseph Porter in 'HMS Pinafore' and Roger de Bris in 'The Producers'. He also reviews for It's on the House and Stage Whispers. By day he is Reception/Admin for a not for profit charity. In 2023 he was awarded an OAM for his services to amateur theatre in SA.View all posts
- Kat Skarbek is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. Despite her obnoxiously precocious beginnings as a 10 year old playwright (over-confidently putting on a ghostly school play that she wrote, directed and acted in), her most recently leanings have been toward short stories with folk horror leanings and creative non-fiction. She is currently incubating an idea for a novel of historical fantasy fiction which, frankly, terrifies the bejesus out of her, so that’s got to be a good sign. Kat likes to think of herself as a bibliophile but her husband says she can call it any fancy name she wants, it’s basically book hoarding, and where the hell is he going to find space for them all anyway? Although she is an ‘all genres’ reading and writing type of gal, at the moment she is devouring mythological and fairy-tale retellings from such authors Natalie Haynes and Angela Carter and genuinely unnerving horror from the terrifying minds of Adam Neville and T. Kingfisher. Aside from writing and being the mother of a brace of character-building teenagers, she spends her time as a Midlife and Mindset coach, teaching women how to make their midlife the most fulfilling and inspiring part of life so far. Kat is very chatty in person but then feels guilty about talking too much. She is a restless nomad in love with family travel, gin, swearing and knitting, though not necessarily in that order.View all posts
- She is a woman with a keen eye for the details that others might miss. She doesn’t just watch the show—she inhabits it. With an extensive career spanning decades in media, television, and live broadcast, her perspective is informed by experience and sharpened by the spotlight itself. Once, she dabbled in the world of acting and theater—taking the stage and testing her own mettle in the most demanding of roles. But it’s not the curtain call that drives her anymore. Her insight is built on years of navigating the complexities of live production, the pulse of a newsroom, and the raw energy of the stage. But don’t expect her to tell you everything. No, her reviews leave a little room for mystery—because she knows the true nature of art is that which can’t always be pinned down. You never know, you might happen to find her sitting in the front row of your next production.View all posts

- A lifelong lover of live entertainment, I have a particular passion for dance, musicals, circus and aerials. With nearly two decades of experience as a dancer, performer, and teacher, I've been on and around the stage in countless ways. I now channel my love for writing into sharing the magic of live performance with others. Outside of reviewing, I am many things to many people; mum, wife, CEO, photographer and marriage/funeral celebrant, making the most of life's moments both big and small. From acrobatics to arias, if it's live, I'm there to experience and celebrate it!View all postsRecent Posts
